Job description

The job of a computerized management technician in Marrakech is mainly oriented toward the private sector. They typically work in SMEs, IT service companies, and with software distributors/publishers or hardware vendors.

They are usually assigned to the IT department. Depending on company size, they report to the IT manager or development manager, or join a project team under a project leader. If there is no IT department, they may report to finance and accounting.

In large organizations, they carry out planned tasks and have some autonomy within their scope of work, focused on development and day-to-day operations of IT solutions.

Professional relationships

They maintain continuous contact with internal users, gather needs and provide support for system use, configuration and adoption of business software. They may also liaise with publishers, manufacturers or distributors when facing major issues.

Autonomy and responsibilities

They organize their work according to workload and company structure. Their reporting line depends on the size of the organization and the department they belong to.

In small or mid-sized entities, they can be responsible for the IT system. In all cases, they must be able to seek support for problems beyond their scope.

They should be able to react to various situations and resolve incidents autonomously (calling maintenance, recovering data, etc.).
